Using cracked egg shells and some food colouring, children can create their own collage.

Materials

Step 1
Introduce the materials to the children and let them examine the egg shells. Prepare some water in the plastic cups and drop in the food colouring with the straws.

Step 3
On the next day, let the children observe the differences in the egg shells

Step 5
Let the children draw on the coloured paper with the white glue and arrange the different coloured egg shells on the cardboard as a collage.

Step 2
Put the egg shells into the food colouring cups. Leave them to soak overnight.

Step 4
Ask the children to crack the egg shells using their hands.
