Inspired from Eric Carle's The Very Busy Spider, children will learn how to create their own spider web with the use of plastic plates and yarn!
Skill Level: Easy
Suitable For: 3-4 years old
Estimated Time: < 15 mins
Environment: Indoors

Materials:
Plastic Disposable Plates
Yarn (about 50cm per spider)
Scissors
Tape
Step 1:
Parents will cut 6-8 slits on the circumference of each plate and prepare 50cm of yarn (for 1 spider).

Step 2:
The child will begin by selecting coloured yarn of his/her choice. Next, the parents will tape the tip of the yarn to the back of the plate.

Step 3:
The child will have to ‘wrap’ the plate with yarn by going through each slit 2-3 times. Don’t worry, the messier the better!

Step 4:
Once the child is done, the parents will tape the end of the yarn to the back of the plate.
