Materials:

• Paper cup

• Glass

• Translucent plastic cup

• Torchlight

• Dark board

• Activity sheet

Step 1:

Place the black board behind the plastic cup. Shine the torch on the plastic cup.

Step 2:

Replace the plastic cup with paper cup. Shine the torch on the paper cup.

Step 3:

Replace the paper cup with glass cup. Shine the torch on the glass cup.

Step 4:

Record observations on activity sheet with your child.
