Hot Air Balloon

Learn how to create a simple hot air balloon craft within 10 minutes.

Materials:

• Paper Plate

• Glue

• Assorted Coloured Paper

• Cutter

• Yarn

• Scissors

• Tape

Step 1:

Paste the torn coloured paper on the back of paper plate and leave it to dry.

Step 2:

Once it’s dry, turn over the plate. Using a cutter, create two slits below the circumference of the plate. Next, attach the two yarn strings on the rim of the paper plate, leaving some of the yarn dangling. To secure the yarn, create a knot at both ends.

Step 3:

Cut the base of the hot air balloon (smaller than the paper plate as this represents the basket of the hot air balloon).

Step 4:

Attach the base onto the yarn by making 2 slits above the basket with the cutter. Afterwards, insert the yarn on each hole and secure it by tying a knot. Your hot air balloon is done!
