It was a fun and meaningful day for the children at Far Eastern Kindergarten!
FEK's children and parents came together to celebrate the school's 47th birthday.
Children were very happy to celebrate this meaningful day with their parents and teachers. Children and parents also get to enjoy face painting, traditional ice cream and pop corn!
As part of the Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) initiative, FEK's K2 children were all geared up to do their part and do their part for the community! The children went around the school to share this meaningful project with parents & guests. The children were very excited! They invited parents & guests to make donations for Rainbow Centre and write down Lids of Wishes for the school.
The Lids of Wishes were also put up in the school compound. There were many encouraging words for the teachers and school.
In total, the children had collected a total of $1769 for Rainbow Centre! Well done, Children!
Last but not least, the Principal and teachers at FEK also conduct classes on Making! The children and families learnt about using recycling materials to make things.
