A Special Treat For Early Childhood Educators

More than 300 teachers joined us at our inaugural Teachers' Day party for our Early Childhood sector. This celebration was in partnership with Resorts World Sentosa, which brought our educators together for a fun day of celebration, food and bonding. Educators were treated to a special preview of the latest educational programmes at S.E.A. Aquarium and The Maritime Experiential Museum.

We were also honoured to have Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Social and Family Development, Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal to join us in gracing the launch of the app and to celebrate Teachers' Day with our educators. The HavTreats mobile application was the first mobile application built by the community for the preschool community. HavTreats was developed by Havence, a smart solution provider for our preschools. This was the first of its kind - a lifestyle mobile app in Singapore for all Preschool Educators.

The Special Treats Campaign was started in 2016, with the aim to recognize and celebrate the passion and commitment of our Early Childhood Educators who play critical roles in the teaching and caring for our young. This campaign was organized by Preschool Market, a local social enterprise, in partnership with the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), Workforce Singapore (WSG) and the Association for the Early Childhood Educators (Singapore) AECES.
