WHAT CHILDREN WILL LEARN
Physical - Enhance fine motor skills through brushing action. Enhance eye-hand coordination.
Intellectual - The children will be able to observe the night sky and create one. They will also be able to explore with the given materials and observe how to drops of paint land onto the paper.
Emotional - They will learn to appreciate their environment and also gain confidence as there isn't a right or wrong in this activity.
Social - Children will be able to create an art piece with the help of family member/s.
4-5 years old

What You Will Need
Poster or acrylic paint
Recreate the night sky with readily available materials found at home.
Gather the materials.
Observe the night sky and pick out colours. Dip a toothbrush into water and then into paint of appropriate colours.
Over a piece of paper, run the toothbrush across the comb and let the splatter of paint fall onto the paper.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 with different colours, until your child is satisfied with the result.
Talk about the artwork and compare it to the actual night sky. Find similarities and differences.
