What You Will Need

  • Cellophane paper

  • Lid of a plastic container

  • White glue

  • Scissors

  • Marker pen

Catch the sunlight streaming in and create dazzling colours with this easy to make suncatcher.

Step 1

Gather the materials.

Step 2

On the lid of a plastic container, have your child draw any picture they want.

Step 3

Cut the cellophane paper into different shapes using scissors.

Step 4

Glue the cellophane paper onto the picture, overlapping the different colours.

Step 5

Dry the suncatcher and tie a string at the top. Hang it up near a window.
