Materials

Step 1
Cut the coloured papers into strips to fit by pacing them according to the colours of the rainbow.

Step 3
Cover the lid lightly with salt.

A box with a depth of about 2-4 inches (e.g. shoe box lid)
Colored papers
100g of cooking salt
Sticky tapes
Paintbrushes
Step 2
Tape the strips of paper together according to the colours of the rainbow and glue it onto the shoebox lid.

Step 4
Get your child to write letters, numbers, or shapes on the sand and watch as the rainbow colours get exposed!
