Fluffy Play Dough

With everyday items found around the house, you can make your own play dough that is much softer than the ones made with flour and water.

Intellectual - Exploring by creating anything they like. Compating textures and identifying them such as soft, slimy, hard and sticky.

Materials

Step 1
Involve the child in the process of making the play dough. Mix 1 cup of flour and 1⁄2 cup of hair conditioner together using the ice cream stick

Step 3
Add in the food colouring. Knead until the colour is spread out.

Step 2
Stir the mixture until you get a soft but non-sticky dough.The consistency may vary depending on the type of flour and hair conditioner.

Step 4
Encourage your child to express themselves freely with the play dough.
