Children make a shopping list.

Step 1

Gather the materials.

Step 2

Create a corner where these items can be held, in a box, shelf or a basket.

Step 3

Provide a writing pad on a clipboard and some writing materials. Each time before the trip to the supermarket, allow your child/children to pick out the items they will need from the supermarket.

Step 4

Children can record these items on the writing pad. Allow the child/children to be in-charge of picking out these items at the supermarket.
